In January 2026, I participated in a professional development seminar organized by Corteva and held at the university. The seminar was led by one of the company’s managers and focused on preparing students for a successful transition into the professional job market.
The session addressed key topics such as building an effective CV, presenting academic and laboratory experience in a professional manner, and developing appropriate workplace behavior. Practical advice was also provided on professional communication, career positioning, and understanding industry expectations.
This seminar strengthened my awareness of professional standards and helped me better align my academic background and skills with future career opportunities in industry-focused and research-driven environments.

Materials, Packaging Innovation, and Industry Awareness

During this seminar organized by AMCOR, a leading international company in packaging and material solutions, I had the opportunity to gain insight into the company’s activities, industrial sectors, and strong commitment to sustainability. The presentation focused on how advanced material science contributes to innovative and environmentally responsible packaging solutions.
AMCOR representatives introduced various polymer-based materials and packaging samples, allowing us to observe and compare their properties, applications, and environmental impact. The seminar highlighted the company’s efforts toward recyclable materials, reduced environmental footprint, and sustainable production strategies, emphasizing the role of chemists and material scientists in addressing global environmental challenges.
This experience strengthened my understanding of industrial material applications, sustainability-driven innovation, and the connection between academic chemistry and real-world industrial practices.
